A project I created for 3D Modeling II class at Champlain College. This model was inspired by Pacific Northwest totem poles with their unique style, shape, and a meaning behind each character of the pole. I created primary forms in Maya, and then brought the model into ZBrush, where I worked on every character's secondary and tertiary forms. Then, I brought the model back to Maya to create a low-resolution version and unwrap it. I textured the pole using Substance Painter. The model is 3894 tris in total, and has one set of 2048x2048 textures.
